Western Aboriginal Tenants Advice and Advocacy Service (WATAAS)
WATAAS are auspiced by Murdi Paak Regional Enterprise Corp oration Ltd (MPREC). We provide information, advice, advicacy & representation for aboriginal tenants in Western NSW.
We provide community education to tenants, students, service providers and other interested groups, on any tenancy issue.
As a tenant, you have legal rights. There are many laws in NSW that affect your tenancy. These laws cover your rights and responsibilities as a tenant. The consumer Trader and Tenancy Tribunal makes decisions which are legally binding on landlords and tenants. If you have a dispute with your landlord about your Residential Tenancy Agreement we can work with you to sort it out.
